The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is reporting that water has receded from the roadway on ND Highway 5, three miles east of Joliette. Traffic is moving through the area at normal speeds.
The following roadways remain closed due to flooding:
ND Highway 17 at the bridge crossing the Red River
The following highways are affected by flood waters, but remain open to traffic, with traffic speeds reduced:
ND Highway 14, south of the US 2 Junction near Towner
Motorists are advised to slow down, watch for signs or flaggers and use caution, as vehicles that leave the roadway may become immersed in water.
