Two East Grand Forks men were treated and released after smacking
into a horse.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the accident happened early
Sunday morning two miles north of Lawton.
Jack Nesdahl was driving south about five-am Sunday. A horse got loose
from its pen and was standing in the middle of North Dakota Highway One.
Nesdahl's passenger, John Rodriguez was also injured. Both were
wearing seatbelts and they walked to a farm and got help.
No word on what happened to the horse (although chances are was
killed or had to be destroyed).
