The Grafton Police Department and the Walsh County Sheriff's
Department say two juvenile males are in jail for allegedly slashing tires
in Grafton and Minto.
A joint news release says the two juvenile males are awaiting
a court appearance for charges in those two cases.
Grafton Police investigated 23 reports of tires being slashed
in town. The Walsh County Sheriff's Office responded to about 13
reports of tires being slashed in Minto. Authorities performed a
joint investigation. They say the vehicles were damaged between
the evening hours of Tuesday, March 19th and the early morning
hours of Thursday, March 21st.
Grafton Assistant Police Chief Tony Dumas tells KXPO
they don't have a damage estimate for the 23 tire slashing incidents
in Grafton but it has to be-in his words-"in the thousands of dollars."
