The Walsh County Highway Department is reminding you and me that
there are many township and county roads flooded and residents should use
caution and common sense.
Do not drive around road closed signs. You can be fined for doing so
and you can jeopardize your life and the lives of those travelling with you. If you
come across a flooded road that is not marked or closed, call the Walsh County
Sheriff's Department to report it.
All drain tile pumps must be shut off. Your permit is in jeopardy if it's not.
Walsh County rural residents needing sand or sandbags should call the
Walsh County Highway Department to get them.
