Farmers are beginning to get into the fields.
Tom Campbell of Campbell Farms of Grafton says his spring work
just started last Friday.
Campbell was seeding wheat and some potatoes.
Campbell says they're okay right now. He's concerned about
a late planting in the spring and then an early fall. That's where there's
crop loss. He says a late spring and a late fall are alright but an early
fall will cause lots of heartburn.
Campbell says potatoes need 80-days to get to maturity and put

Campbell says every six or seven years, the spring seeding is late.
