Grafton Police are investigating a series of tire slashings from early
Police Chief Steve Kliniske tells KXPO someone slashed tires on
up to 16-vehicles and complaints were still coming in.
Kliniske says the first report came in around four-am Thursday morning.
Officers on patrol spotted spotted them.
Most of the vehicles with the slashed tires were parked on streets or in
driveways. Some vehicles had one tire slashed, others had them all cut. There
were multiple vehicles with slashed tires on some blocks and on other blocks,
only one. The tire slashings happened all over town.
The tires were punctured with a sharp object.
Kliniske is encouraging anyone with information to please call the
Grafton Police Department. If you saw something that might be suspicious,
heard a dog barking, anything, give police a call.
