City Administrator Nick Ziegelmann says the work starts Wednesday.
Ziegelmann says crews were scraping dirt off the clay pit to get the
Crews will build dikes along the Park River to protect Grafton from
a crest of 18-feet. If that were to happen, that'd be a new flood of record.
The current one is 16.52-feet, set in 1948.
Ziegelmann says crews will be working 12-hours per day from
Wednesday through Monday to get the temporary emergency levies and
the permanent ones ready.
