The National Weather Service has issued a hydrologic outlook.
It says there will be warmer weather through Saturday but then we dip
back into the deep freeze. Then, it should warm up again later next week.
Some areas that have more shallow snow depth, like the central
Red River Basin, should see more black dirt poke through the snow in the
next few days. But the snowcover will persist in the northern Red River
Valley and the far southern Red River Valley because there's more snow
It'll be warmer today through Saturday. Some freezing rain's
expected Friday and early Saturday. Cold air returns Easter Sunday.
Then another warmup later next week.
